COMMISSIONING A LEE LAPTHORNE PIECE OR BUYING A FINISHED PRODUCT.
My main focus is on commission made pieces. Today I also work with new modern pieces as well as reproduction pieces of furniture. I am happy to discuss any type of projects with you. I have the means of sourcing pieces from a large selection of suppliers. I also have an Interior Design service and welcome any enquirers. I am happy to discuss your ideas with you and work towards a proposal that will hopefully fit your requirements.
All our reproduction pieces are sourced from responsible suppliers and I only work with cultivated new wood supplied pieces.

ALL MAJOR CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED AS WELL AS BANK TRANSFERS.
For payment on smaller items such as cushions I either take payment over the phone or via bank transfer. Alternatively I accept bank transfers. Details
When placing a commission order I require a non refundable deposit of 50%. This is to secure the sale and to enable us to commence making the commissioned piece. Full payment needs to be cleared into my account prior to delivery. Refunds of deposit will only occur if I, Lee Lapthorne is unable to full fill the order as agreed. Example of this would be if I can not source the piece required.
I accept all major credit and debit cards. Alternatively I accept bank transfers. Details of this can be found on the invoice.
For new commissions the lead time is currently 10-12 weeks from placement of order, which is considered as confirmed once the 50% deposit has been received.
All deposits are non refundable from the date the project has commenced. Deposits will only be refunded if we are unable to source the required piece or if Lee Lapthorne is unable to complete the order.
SHIPPING, DELIVERIES AND PACKING
The cost for delivery, shipping and packaging (if required) is not included unless otherwise stated. You will be informed of any additional costs before this is added to the total cost. I have a well established relationship with our world wide shippers, and I can quickly supply you with a competitive shipping quote.
Accessories, Fabrics, Furniture and all items can only be returned to me if it is faulty upon arrival and/or that it is deemed that the product is not as described. Goods should be checked upon delivery to ensure satisfaction as I can not accept returns based on change of circumstances at a later date. Should any goods not be to the specifications agreed there is a maximum period of 5 working days from when delivery has been made in order to notify Lee Lapthorne of any concerns. Notifications should be in writing or via email to prevent any miss-understandings. Email will be accepted as written notification.
